
Pool Rules
At the pool, the lifeguard(s) on duty must enforce all the
rules. If a person does not follow a rule, he/she may be asked
to leave the pool.
- No person allowed in the pool unless a lifeguard is on
duty.
- No shoes on the pool deck.
- No food or drink, including gum, allowed on the pool
deck or in the water.
- No running or horse playing in and around the pool.
- No diving into the pool unless supervised by a certified
instructor.
- No spitting, urinating, or secretion of any body fluid
in the pool or on the pool deck.
- Infants/Toddlers must wear “swim diapers”
in the pool.
- An adult must accompany all children under the age of
12.
- All children 5 and under must have a parent in the water
with them.
- Do not abuse the equipment at the pool and return it
when finished. If you are unsure how to use an item, ask
the lifeguard on duty.
- When entering a lap lane, you must let the other swimmer
know before starting your swim.
- When there are people waiting for a lap lane, please
limit your swim to 45 minutes.
* Please Note: Circular swimming is permitted if all swimmers
in a lane agree or during a program with an instructor.
