DAY CARE/PRE-NATAL CLASSES

The Suffolk Y JCC’s New York State licensed Day Care Center provides Day Care for children 3 months to 5 years, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am-6:00 pm.

Our professionally trained and accredited Early Childhood staff provides appropriate developmental activities in keeping with the experiential philosophy of our program. Our nurturing and stimulating JCC environment encourages self-expression and promotes self-confidence and independence.

The Day Care Center provides a Jewish atmosphere through the observance of the Sabbath, offering special holiday programs, and teaching the rich traditions that link the children to their heritage.

Children participate in varied activities throughout the Y including reading readiness, math, science, art, music, free play, and outdoor recreation. Our weekly enrichment activities include gym, music and movement, cooking, and swimming for children in the 3 and 4 year old programs. Our newly renovated classrooms are large and comfortable and provide a safe and nurturing environment.
